Attention

I have made an important decision. For the next sixty-three (63) days, JRBnet will be, I guess you could call it, on pause. After the sixty-three days, JRBnet will most likely be back online with a new website. Thankyou for understanding. This site that you are reading this post on now is also considered closed and will never be updated again as of October 24, 2007. For the mail new site and that JRBnet copyright information go to the main news site here: This Link!

U Suck Pokémon USA! We like Japan better anyways!

Just recieved an email message from the one and only Veronica Taylor (Ash's and May's voice actor on the Pokémon series) who just came across some interesting info regarding the next season of the Pokémon anime. Appearently, Cartoon Network is talking with Pokémon USA to accquire the series next season. Save the Voice Actors and Pokemon DubShe, and others who saw and hated the special aired last saturday, have grave concerns regarding the production and airing of this unacceptable remake of our favorite show.

To show how you feel about the sub-standard performance of the cast last Saturday, Veronica suggests you email the CN execs your concerns:
I have just received information that needs to get out to as many people as possible right away. If it's not too much trouble, could you forward this? Thanks!!!!

Here is the email and some addresses you can forward. please sign your own name to it as well.
At this moment Cartoon Network is talking with Pokémon USA and Nintendo about negotiating a deal for next season. Whether they know that the show they potentially acquire is a very badly done 'fake' is unknown. We need as many people as possible to flood them with emails letting them know that the 'special' we all saw on Saturday was beyond unacceptable. The actors, other than being lackluster and unable to fit the flap, lacked any emotion or character. The script was amateurish and flat. There was no direction. The Pokemon themselves all sounded incredibly different from the original show and video games. It was more violent than any other Pokemon episode has ever been. It was in no way up to the standards which have been set over the past eight years by 4kids, Nintendo and the WB. Are we all expected to simply sit by as Pokémon USA lies to everyone, saying the show will be "exactly the same", even though they have replaced every single element? We have now seen, through the fiasco which was the 10th anniversary special, that this is far from the truth. Please send emails immediately to the two executives at Turner Network (below) and warn them before they make a mistake they will certainly regret for a very long time. Bring Pokemon back to 4kids before it's too late.
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
Forward your Email to:

Pokémon Ranger & The Prince of the Sea

Thanks to our friends over at JRBnetR&D, we now have info that the 9th Movie was revealed today. It is called Pokémon Ranger & The Prince of the Sea.

It still features our heroes Ash, May, & the rest. One of the key Pokémon for this movie will be Kyogre, such as Mew was in last year's movie 8. This film is set for release in Japan in July 2006 and is to coincide with the release of the DS game Pokémon Ranger.

More info will be posted as it becomes available.

All pictures couldn't fit on this page so they are available at THIS LINK.

GBAustralia (From one of our members!)

GBAustralia

This week's one of those bigger weeks for Nintendo Australia and Aussie Nintendo gamers. Thursday sees the long-awaited arrival of Geist down under, as well as Mario Superstar Baseball, Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and the hot, small and new Game Boy Micro!Nintendo AU

We've heard comments on the price of the little 'Boy Micro, and their feelings that it's perhaps out of their price range. However, three units will include a voucher for $1000 worth of Mooks Clothing, and who knows, you might just be getting value for money!

Nintendo will soon be launching www.GameBoyMicro.com.au, which means more positive marketing!

Finally, Mario Kart Double Dash!! is now retailing as a Players Choice title and don't forget, we'll be playing the latest, DS installment online in two short weeks, and Nintendo are at least doing something to inform the public...

Along with in-store standees and posters, we've heard reports that Nintendo will be giving you the chance to win Go Kart Rides, Mario Kart DS shirts and wireless routers. You'll need to look inside your Mario Kart DS box for details, or check www.nintendo.com.au

Pokémon Rocks America 2005 (From one of our members!)

Pokémon Rocks America 2005

Today I went to Pokémon Rocks America 2005 in Boston. Here is wht there was:
  • Parking: Is was $12.00. Hey, Pokémon Rocks America 2005 is free so they get you on paking.
  • As you enter: There were little fags all round the front. You go through doors and this other company gives cupons with nothing to do with Pokémon Rocks America 2005.
  • When you actually enter: There is a big arch way with Pokémon on it and Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny are there to greet you. Also as you come in you get a Pickachu mask and a Pokémon FAN magazine.
  • PokéCenter Boston: There was a huge line. When you get to the front you can buy PokéDolls, clothes and cards.
  • Contest: You fill out a simple form and are entered into a contest to go to New York on Thanksgiving. Also just by enternig you get a water bottle and a Rayquaza patch.
  • TCG Arenas: In the front people are giving out Lugia promo cards. Then there is a demo area where you can try the cards. And you can battle people and staff.
  • PokéCar: The Pokémon Bug is parked in the middle and you can get your picture by it.
  • PokéStage: There are plays and contests where you can win prises, like a book cover, game, bookmark, and other what not.. (Hint: Go to the right side of the stage and they'll give you the prizes anyway.)
  • PokéSoccer: The Pokémon sponsered soccor company was there and you can kick a soccer ball in the Blaziken Kick game. You'll win a bokk mark.
  • PokéRoll: There is a game where you roll a ball and win a bobble head, or, you can just buy them.
  • XD: You can play a battle in Pokémon XD with staff.
  • Food court: Nothing Pokémon.
  • Munchlax and Mystic Ticket: Bring your GBA or DS and you get free things.
  • Union Room: Just like the Union room in FR&LG. But for going in you get a Metang.
  • Trials: You can try any Pokémon game.
  • Trial XD: You can try Pokémon XD for 5 minutes.
  • Photo lab: You can take pictures and meet characters. Also you can be interviewed by Pro. Birch.
  • Statues: There are statues with Pokémon everywhere.
  • Bags: You get bags filled with fun and cupons.
  • Poeple: ALERT: There are NO human Pokémon characters there (Ash, Misty...) Just wierdos dressing as them.
  • Tip: Do what you want you'll never come back.
And that was my Pokémon Rocks America 2005 experience.
